WAV files originated way back in 1991 and you may remember them from the early Microsoft days. Let’s explain what these files are and where they’re used. With Kindle, you have MOBI files, ePub files, and more, and with audiobooks, you have MP3 files, M4B files, WAV files, and even AIFF files for CD’s. Just like with Kindle eBooks, you can have multiple formats of the files for audiobooks this can be quite confusing.
